Back in August we had 32 teams in contention for the Super Bowl. Then in early January, there were 12 left. Now we are left with two: the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Two teams with rich and vibrant histories and two very exciting teams to say the least.
These two teams are very similar. They have two very good defenses that make many plays and get the job done. Also, they have two of the better quarterbacks in the league in Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers, who I believe is the better among the two, has played very well in the post season and I don’t expect to see he him stopping his good play. Yes, the Steelers do have one of the best defenses in the NFL, but Rodgers is smart and he has so many weapons to choose from. On the other side of the football, the Packers defense has also played amazing and I think the will continue to play well. Maurkice Pouncey will not play tomorrow and that will be a major factor. Clay Mathews and BJ Raji should play well. In a championship game the score is usually close, but I think this one will be a blowout. Packers will be your Super Bowl Champions by a final score of 27-10. My money is also on Aaron Rodgers for MVP.
