Interview With German Pop Sensation Total Ghost

I recently got the opportunity to sit down with the creators of the faux-German electro-pop sensation, Total Ghost. Randy Washington (Chön), Adam Nix (Biktor), and Evan Nix may seem like regular guys, but together they have created something truly special. While some artists take years to develop a solid identity, in a very short time Total Ghost has found their own niche and a distinctive sound.

This photography project was inspired in-part by Thierry Guetta, a man who spent years of his life videotaping and documenting everything he saw. He later became a street-artist, influenced by the likes of Banksy and other high-profile artists. In the spirit of his work, I kept my camera with me all day, attempting to capture as much as I could. I too am lucky to have personal relationships with many influencers, and I cannot thank them enough for making me better, but I will try anyways. Thank-you BasedGod.

When I saw the album cover, a picture of two awkward men standing on ‘moon planet’ and baring their chest hair in front of a custom Lamborghini, I knew I was about to experience something epic. However, when I pressed play, I was not prepared for the intense auditory and optical stimulation that ensued.
